Frequently asked questions
How do I sit down?
Sneak (hold shift) and right-click on any block or surface you want to sit on. Your player will enter a sitting pose on that block.
Can I sit on any block?
Yes, you can sit on almost any block in the game, including solid blocks, stairs, slabs, carpets, and even decorative blocks. Some transparent or very small blocks may not work as well.
How do I stand up?
Press sneak (shift) again or move in any direction to stand up and exit the sitting pose.
Why does sitting on stairs look better than regular blocks?
Stairs and slabs have different heights and angles, which allows you to position yourself at various heights and create more natural-looking seating arrangements than flat blocks.
