Using Stairs for Comfortable Seating

Stairs and slabs provide the most natural-looking sitting positions because of their angled or reduced heights.

Sitting on stairs:

1. Place stairs in your desired orientation

2. Sneak and right-click on the stair block

3. Your character will sit partway up the stair, creating a realistic seated pose

4. Adjust stair direction by rotating them before sitting

Slab Seating

Slabs offer a lower, bench-like sitting position:

1. Place a slab block

2. Sneak and right-click to sit

3. Your legs will dangle naturally from the reduced height

Building Seating Areas

Combine multiple stairs or slabs to create:

• Benches (place slabs in rows)
• Tiered seating (stack stairs at different heights)
• Throne-like structures (use stairs leading up to a higher block)

This approach works well for building gathering spaces, amphitheaters, or decorative seating in your builds without requiring any special blocks or items.
