How to Sit on Any Block

Basic Sitting

The core feature of Sit Anywhere! Mod lets you sit on virtually any solid block without needing special furniture or invisible mobs.

To sit:

1. Look at any solid block (stairs, slabs, full blocks, logs, etc.)

2. Right-click on the block while sneaking (hold Shift)

3. Your character will sit on top of that block

4. Right-click again or press your sneak key to stand up

Supported Surfaces

Most solid blocks work, including:

• Stairs and slabs
• Logs and wood blocks
• Stone and dirt blocks
• Custom blocks from other mods

Some blocks may not support sitting depending on their shape or collision box. Transparent blocks like glass or leaves typically won't work. Experiment to find what surfaces feel natural in your builds.

Tips

Sitting is purely visual and doesn't affect your game state—you won't take damage while sitting, and you can still interact with your inventory. This makes it perfect for roleplay, screenshots, or just taking a break at your base.
