Fixing Common Transtructor Problems
When a Transtructor doesn't do what you expect, it's usually one of a few simple issues. Here's how to diagnose and fix them.
Nothing happens when I right-click
- Make sure you're holding a placeable block in your hotbar and it's the selected slot. The tool places *your* block, not its own.
- Confirm you're aiming at a solid block face, not at air. The tool needs a surface to extend from.
- Check your inventory actually contains the block type you're trying to place.
The line stops too soon
- You likely ran out of blocks. Refill your stack and continue from the last placed block.
- An obstruction in the path halts the run. Clear it or start a new line past it.
- If you only wanted one block, sneak while using the tool to place a single block instead of a full line.
The wrong blocks get placed or swapped
- The tool uses whatever block is selected in your hotbar. Switch slots to change the material.
- For the Advanced Transtructor, remember it replaces existing blocks, so aim carefully to avoid converting blocks you wanted to keep.
Direction is wrong
- The line follows the face you click. Aim at a different side of the anchor block to change the direction of the run.
