How do I use shears on vines?
Equip shears in your hand and right-click on any vine block. The vine will be sheared and stop growing in that direction, just like cave vines do in vanilla Minecraft.
Do sheared vines drop anything?
Shearing vines with this mod works the same as shearing other blocks—the vine itself remains in place but stops growing, and no items are dropped.
Can I regrow a vine after shearing it?
No, once a vine is sheared, it will not grow back. If you want to restore vine growth, you'll need to break the block and let a new vine grow naturally from an adjacent block.
Does this mod work on all types of vines?
This mod allows you to shear regular vines (the kind found in jungles and swamps). It gives them the same shearing mechanic as cave vines, which already had this feature in vanilla.
