Controlling Natural Vine Growth

Jungles and swamps generate with abundant vines that can obscure terrain and make navigation difficult. Use shears to selectively manage which vines remain.

Steps:

1. Gather or craft shears

2. Identify vines you want to remove or stop from growing

3. Shear each vine individually by right-clicking it

4. Leave vines you want to keep untouched

Strategic Vine Removal

Shearing vines doesn't destroy them instantly—it stops their growth. You can:

• Shear vines blocking pathways to create clear routes through dense vegetation
• Preserve decorative vines on certain structures while removing others nearby
• Create visual separation between different areas by selectively shearing

This approach gives you fine control over your environment without needing to break and replace blocks. Sheared vines remain as static decoration, making them perfect for builds that want the aesthetic of vines without the constant spread.
