Frequently asked questions
How do I build a lapis beacon base?
Stack lapis lazuli blocks in a pyramid shape beneath your beacon block, just like you would with iron, gold, diamond, or netherite blocks. The mod treats lapis lazuli blocks identically to vanilla mineral blocks for beacon base construction.
Can I use lapis lazuli instead of ingots to power my beacon?
Yes, you can place lapis lazuli directly into the beacon's payment slot to activate effects, just as you would with iron ingots, gold ingots, diamond, or netherite ingots.
Do lapis beacon bases give the same effects as other mineral bases?
Lapis beacon bases function identically to vanilla mineral bases—they activate the same player effects like Speed, Haste, Resistance, and Jump Boost depending on your pyramid configuration.
Can I mix lapis blocks with iron, gold, diamond, or netherite in one beacon?
Yes, you can combine lapis lazuli blocks with any other mineral blocks in a single pyramid base, and the beacon will still function normally.
