Understanding Mob-Based Power
Create Slice & Dice adds a way to generate rotational power using mobs. The exact block or machine involved takes mobs as input and converts their presence or processing into kinetic energy for your Create contraptions.
Setting Up the Generator
Place the mob-power block and connect it to your kinetic network with shafts, cogs, or belts. You need to supply mobs to the machine, either by spawning them nearby, funneling them in with belts, or using a spawner setup.
Feeding Mobs In
Use a conveyor belt, water stream, or mechanical arm to deliver mobs to the generator. Keep a steady supply by breeding animals nearby or using a mob farm. The generator will consume the mobs and output rotational force.
Connecting to Your Network
Run shafts from the generator's output to whatever you want to power: mixers, presses,
slicers, or a rotational speed controller. Use gearboxes to change direction and speed controllers to adjust RPM.
Tips
- Enclose the generator so mobs cannot escape before being consumed.
- Combine with the
Slicer for a dual-purpose mob processing and power setup. - Use a clutch or gearshift to disengage the generator when you do not need power.
