Create Slice & Dice FAQ

Craft the Slicer first, since it's the core machine that handles animal processing and unlocks most other recipes. Feed it rotational power from Create and give it a mob or item input to see what it produces before building out the rest of your line.

The Slicer takes rotational force and processes animals or items placed or fed into it, killing and breaking them down into outputs. You need to supply it with stress from your Create network and route the results out with belts, funnels, or chutes.

Fertilizer gets processed into Liquid Fertilizer, which is then stored in a Bucket of Liquid Fertilizer or piped into fluid tanks. Use Create fluid pipes and pumps to move it from the mixing step to wherever you apply it.

Place the Sprinkler above your crops and feed it Liquid Fertilizer through a fluid pipe or tank. It spreads the fertilizer over the area below, speeding up growth, so keep it stocked or your crops revert to normal speed.

Wet Air is a fluid produced as a byproduct of certain processing steps in the mod. It's typically piped into tanks or used in further fluid handling recipes, so don't just void it — route it into your fluid network.

Dyes are combined in the mod's mixing processes, letting you blend colors that vanilla crafting can't produce. Feed the dye items and any required fluid into the machine and output the mixed result into a tank or basin.

The mod adds mob-based power generation, where captured or spawned mobs are processed to produce rotational or fluid energy. Set up a mob supply feeding the generator and connect the output to your Create stress network.

Black Hole Storage Tanks hold enormous amounts of fluid in a single block, far beyond normal tank capacity. Connect them with Create fluid pipes and use them as a buffer between production and consumption.

Conveyor upgrades modify how your Create belts move and sort items, letting you control speed, filtering, or routing without rebuilding the line. Apply them to existing belts to change behavior rather than replacing the whole setup.

Most likely you're short on rotational stress or the machine has no valid input. Check that your Create network has enough stress capacity, that fluids are actually reaching the machine, and that the output side isn't backed up.
