Frequently asked questions

How do I sort my inventory with Client Sort Mod?
Hover your cursor over the inventory or container you want to sort and press the middle mouse button. The items will rearrange automatically into a tidy order.
What key do I press to sort items?
By default it's the middle mouse button. Just hover over the inventory screen and click it to trigger a sort.
How do I change the sorting order?
Hold Shift, Control, or Alt while pressing the sort key to use a different sorting order. Each modifier gives you a distinct arrangement, so you can pick whichever fits what you're doing.
Why does the middle mouse button do nothing when I try to sort?
Your middle mouse button is likely bound to another function, such as pick block, or your mouse doesn't register a middle click. Rebind the sort key in the mod's controls or use a mouse that supports middle clicking.
