Frequently asked questions

Do I need Forge or Fabric to use this resource pack?
No, Better Books Resource Pack works as a standard resource pack and doesn't require any mod loader. Simply place it in your resourcepacks folder and enable it in your world settings.
Why do my books still look flat?
Make sure the resource pack is enabled and ranked above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list. If using other book-related packs, move Better Books to the top to ensure its textures take priority.
Do enchanted books look different from regular books?
Yes, enchanted books display with a distinct purple color and glowing effect, making them easy to spot when organizing your collection or searching through dropped items.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs?
Yes, but resource pack order matters. Place Better Books above packs that also modify book textures to prevent conflicts. Packs that change unrelated items usually work fine together.
