How to Craft Your First Spartan Weaponry Weapon

Pick a weapon type

Spartan Weaponry adds several melee classes, each with its own attack pattern: daggers (fast, short reach), longswords (wide sweeping arc), katanas (quick slashes), sabers, rapiers, spears, halberds, glaives, pikes, warhammers, battleaxes, maces, throwing knives, throwing axes, javelins, boomerangs, and more. Before crafting, decide what role you need: a dagger for rapid hits, a longsword for crowd control, or a spear for reach.

Gather the right materials

Every weapon is built from a material plus a handle/pole component. Common materials include wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond, and modded metals if you have compatible mods installed. The recipe shape changes per weapon: most one-handed blades use a material ingot/gem plus a stick or handle, while polearms (spear, halberd, glaive, pike) need a longer shaft made from two sticks or a pole item.

Craft it

Open your crafting grid and match the recipe shown in JEI/REI (search the weapon name). If JEI is installed, click the weapon to see its exact layout. Place the material in the head slot and the handle/pole in the shaft slot. Once crafted, the weapon inherits stats from the material — a diamond longsword hits harder than a wooden one, and a gold one swings faster but breaks sooner. Equip it in your main hand and test the swing arc in a safe area before taking it into combat.
