Frequently asked questions

How do I use the calculator in the REI search bar?

Just type a math expression directly into the REI search bar, like 4*16 or 128/2, and the result appears in the search results. You don't need to press any special key or open a separate window.

What math operations does the REI calculator support?

It supports the basic operations: addition (+), subtraction (-), multiplication (*), and division (/). You can chain them together in a single expression.

How do I use the /calc command?

Type /calc followed by your expression, for example /calc 64*3, and the result is shown in chat. It works exactly the same as typing the expression into the REI search bar.

What do k and m mean in the calculator?

They are metric prefixes: k means thousand and m means million. So 1k equals 1000 and 5m equals 5000000, letting you type large numbers quickly.
