Calculating Enchanted Item Amounts With the e Shortcut

What the e Shortcut Does

The mod adds a shortcut where e represents the enchanted variant of an item. This lets you express enchanted quantities in the same expression you would use for normal items, so you do not have to remember a separate item name or look it up in REI. Typing 1e refers to one enchanted unit rather than one plain item.

Using It in Expressions

Treat e like any other unit in a calculation. You can scale it, add it to plain amounts, or divide it to find how many enchanted items a total represents. For example, combining an enchanted count with a stack conversion lets you answer questions like how many enchanted items fit in a given number of stacks. The mod evaluates the expression the same way it handles prefixes and stack units.

Practical Uses

This shortcut is most useful when you are planning around enchanted gear or materials — estimating how many enchanted pieces you can make from a stockpile, or converting a mixed inventory into a single enchanted total. If an expression with e does not evaluate, check that you have not accidentally typed it as part of an item name; the shortcut only triggers when the input parses as a calculation. Clear the field and retype the expression if the search bar treats it as a normal query.
