How to Use Lumberjack to Chop Whole Trees Quickly

What Lumberjack Does

Lumberjack is the tree-focused enchantment from Vein Miner. When you break one log with a Lumberjack-enchanted axe, the mod fells the entire connected tree, dropping all the logs at once instead of making you climb and chop each block.

Setting It Up

1. Hold an axe in your main hand.

2. Run the mod's enchant command for Lumberjack. The commands section of the wiki lists the exact syntax — the mod uses chat commands rather than an anvil.

3. Confirm the enchantment appears on the axe's tooltip.

Chopping a Tree

1. Walk up to any tree and break a single log block with the enchanted axe.

2. The mod detects connected logs and removes them together. Leaves are typically left in place or handled separately depending on configuration.

3. Collect the dropped logs. Because everything falls at once, stand clear so items do not scatter into unreachable spots.

Things to Watch

• Very large or modded trees can produce a big burst of drops; empty inventory space first.
• If the tree does not fall, check that the axe still has the enchantment and that you broke a log, not a leaf block.
• To stop felling whole trees, disable the enchantment via the command or switch to a normal axe.
