Enhance Water and Wet Surface Reflections
Locate Reflection Settings
Open shader options and find the Reflections, Water, or Surface section. Unbound Visual includes dedicated controls for how water and wet blocks render reflections.
Configure Water Reflection Quality
Look for settings such as:
- Reflection resolution: Higher values show sharper, more detailed reflections
- Reflection distance: Controls how far the shader traces reflections into the scene
- Water smoothness: Adjusts ripple and wave appearance
- Wet block reflectivity: Controls how strongly rain-wet surfaces reflect light
Apply and Observe
Increase reflection resolution for clearer, more defined reflections on water surfaces. Higher reflection distance makes distant objects visible in water, creating depth. Adjust water smoothness to balance between calm, mirror-like water and realistic wave detail.
Stand near a large water body and look at how the sky, trees, and blocks reflect. Wet stone and dirt should show subtle reflections after rain. If reflections look too sharp or unrealistic, reduce resolution slightly. If they're too blurry, increase it. Test in different lighting conditions—sunrise, noon, and night—to ensure reflections look natural throughout the day cycle.
