Fixing Visual Desync When Stack Refill Runs Server-Side Only

Why the Desync Happens

Stack Refill is designed to work server-side only. The server knows your hand was refilled, but your client may not update its display at the same instant, so you can briefly see an empty hand or a stale stack. This is the tradeoff of a server-only mod.

Reducing the Annoyance

1. Install the mod on both the server and your client if a client build is available for your loader. Matching both sides keeps the client's view in sync with the server's logic.

2. If you must stay server-only, treat the flicker as cosmetic — your actual held item is correct on the server, so blocks still place and tools still swing.

3. Avoid rapidly switching hotbar slots right as a stack empties; letting the refill settle for a moment reduces the chance of a visible glitch.

4. If you notice a genuinely wrong item in hand (not just a flicker), open your inventory once to force a client refresh.

When It Matters

Desync is harmless during normal play. It only becomes confusing in fast combat or precise building, where a one-frame visual gap can throw off timing. In those cases, a client-side install is the cleanest fix.
