How to Craft Ender Shards and a Teleporter in Simple Teleporters

Getting Ender Shards

Everything in this mod starts with Ender Shards. You obtain them by breaking Ender Shards found in the world — they generate as small crystal-like blocks, most commonly in the End, but they can also appear in other dimensions. Mine them with any pickaxe to collect the shard item. If you already have Ender Pearls, check the recipe book in your crafting menu; the mod adds a way to convert Ender Pearls into Ender Shards so you are not forced to travel to the End just to get started.

Crafting the Teleporter

Open your crafting grid and search for "Teleporter" in the recipe book. The recipe consumes Ender Shards along with a small amount of common material (check the recipe book for the exact layout, since it can differ between versions). Craft at least two Teleporters — one for each end of the journey. You will also want a few spare Ender Shards on hand, because you need them again when linking.

Placing Your First Pair

Place one Teleporter block at your home base and another at your destination. Do not expect them to work yet — a freshly placed Teleporter is unlinked. The next step is to link them together, which is covered in the linking guide.
