How to Build a Teleporter Network Between Multiple Bases
One Pair Is Not Enough
A single linked pair only moves you between two points. To build a real fast-travel network across several bases, you need multiple Teleporters and a plan for how they connect.
Planning Your Network
Decide on a hub-and-spoke layout or a chain. In a hub layout, you place one Teleporter at a central base and link each outlying Teleporter back to it. In a chain, base A links to base B, B links to C, and so on. Hub layouts are usually easier to manage because every destination is one hop from the center.
Linking Each Destination
For every new base, place a Teleporter, then link it to the Teleporter you want to arrive at. Repeat the Ender Shard linking steps for each pair. Keep a written note (a sign or a book) of which Teleporter goes where, because once several are placed it is easy to lose track.
Practical Tips
- Label each Teleporter with a sign so you know its destination before stepping on.
- Keep spare Ender Shards in a chest near your hub for quick re-linking.
- If you relocate a base, re-link its Teleporter rather than assuming the old link still works.
- Test each new link immediately after setting it, while you are still standing next to both ends.
