How do I choose which painting gets placed?

Right-click into the air with the

Selectable Painting to open a GUI where you select the painting size and the painting itself. Right-clicking a block places the painting you selected.

How do I change the size of a painting?

Open the GUI by right-clicking into the air with the

Selectable Painting, then pick the painting size there. The current size is also shown in the item's tooltip.

How do I craft a

Selectable Painting?

Put a Painting in any slot of the crafting table. You can also craft a regular Painting back by putting a

Selectable Painting in any slot of the crafting table.

How do I get a random painting?

In the GUI, tick "Random Painting" and a random painting with the selected size will be placed.

Why can't I place my painting?

If the painting is too big for the space you are trying to place it on, you get an error message instead of a placed painting.

Do I get my

Selectable Painting back when I remove it?

Yes. When you take the painting down, you get the painting item back with the same size and painting you had selected.

Does the

Selectable Painting mod need to be installed on the server?

Yes, the mod is needed on both the server and the client side.

What does the

Selectable Painting tooltip show?

The tooltip shows the current size and the selected painting.

Which Minecraft versions and loaders does

Selectable Painting support?

It is available for Forge and NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. Minecraft versions the mod is not released for are not supported.
