Locating Legendary Spawns

Legendary and paradox Pokémon spawn at low rates across all underground biomes in this data pack. Your best chances come from exploring thoroughly and spending extended time in each cave type. Magnetic Caves have the highest concentration of paradox spawns, while other biomes occasionally produce legendary encounters.

Preparation and Strategy

Bring high-level Pokémon and plenty of Poké Balls—ultra balls or better increase capture odds significantly. Stock healing items since legendaries are powerful opponents. Travel with a team that covers multiple types to handle whatever you encounter.

Visit each biome systematically: spend time in Primordial Caves for ancient legendaries, Magnetic Caves for paradox variants, and Abyssal Chasm for deep-sea legends. Use caves with larger open areas where spawns are more visible.

Respawn Mechanics

Monsters respawn as you explore and move between chunks. Return to previously cleared areas after traveling elsewhere to trigger new spawns. This makes legendary hunting a patience game—keep moving, return, and check again. The rarer the encounter, the longer you may need to search.
