How to Pin Advancement Tabs So You Don't Lose Track

Pinning is the headline feature of Paginated Advancements. It keeps the tabs you care about visible at the top of the screen so you can jump back to them without scrolling through every mod's tab.

Pinning a Tab

Open the advancements screen and find the tab you want to keep handy. Right-click the tab (or use the pin button that appears when you hover over it, depending on your version). A pin icon will appear on the tab, and it will be moved to the pinned section at the front of the tab row.

Unpinning a Tab

Right-click the pinned tab again, or click the pin icon to toggle it off. The tab returns to its normal position in the list.

Why This Helps

In large modpacks the tab bar can hold dozens of tabs, and the one you are actively working on can scroll out of view. Pinning keeps your current goals—like a specific mod's progression line—always one click away. Pin a handful of tabs at most; pinning too many defeats the purpose because the pinned row itself becomes crowded.
