How to Adjust Tab Spacing, Background Fading, and Layout

Paginated Advancements exposes several visual tweaks so you can make the screen match your preferences or your monitor size. These are usually found in the mod's config file or an in-game config screen if your mod loader provides one.

Changing Tab Spacing

Look for a spacing or padding option in the config. Increasing it spreads tabs further apart, which helps on high-resolution displays where tabs feel cramped. Decreasing it fits more tabs on screen at once, useful on smaller windows.

Disabling Background Fading

The vanilla advancements screen dims the world behind it. The mod lets you turn that fading off so the game world stays fully visible behind the panel. Toggle the background fade option in the config to disable it.

Tweaking the Layout

Other layout options control how the grid is sized and how tabs wrap. After changing any value, close and reopen the advancements screen to see the effect. If a change makes the screen hard to read, revert it—there is no penalty for experimenting, and the config is easy to reset.
