How to Fix Metals Ultra Textures Not Showing Up
Basic Checks
If metals look plain after installing the pack, work through these in order:
- Make sure the pack is actually enabled and moved to the top of your resource pack list.
- Confirm the pack version matches your Minecraft version; a mismatched pack may load partially or not at all.
- Reload resources with F3 + T (or restart the game) so changes take effect.
Shader-Related Causes
PBR and POM effects only render with a compatible shader active. If the pack loads but metals look flat and dull, the problem is usually the shader, not the pack:
- Ensure a shader pack is selected and enabled.
- Turn on PBR/LabPBR and parallax options in the shader settings.
- Try a different shader to rule out one that lacks parallax support.
Conflicts and Caching
Another resource pack overriding the same files will win if it sits above Metals Ultra. Move Metals Ultra higher or disable the other pack to test. Occasionally the game caches old textures; a full restart clears this. If only *some* metals are affected, those specific metals are likely unsupported or overridden — check the pack's supported list and your load order for just those entries.
