How to Combine Golden Days with Other Resource Packs

Golden Days only retextures a specific set of blocks and items, so it pairs well with packs that cover different content. The goal is to avoid two packs fighting over the same texture.

Order matters

1. Open Options, then Resource Packs.

2. Place Golden Days above or below the other pack depending on which one you want to win for overlapping textures.

3. Reload and check a few known blocks, such as doors, leaves, and signs, to confirm which pack is showing.

Choosing good partners

Pick packs that focus on areas Golden Days does not cover, such as GUI, font, or environment textures, so there is little overlap. If another pack also changes planks or leaves, decide which style you prefer and order accordingly. Test in a small area before applying changes across a large world.

Troubleshooting

If a texture looks wrong, move Golden Days up or down one slot and reload. If a block reverts to vanilla, the pack may not cover it, which is expected. Keep a note of which pack handles which category so future updates stay predictable.
