How to Build a Retro Village Using Golden Days Textures

A village is the easiest showcase for Golden Days because the pack restyles almost everything a village already uses: doors, trapdoors, signs, planks, leaves, and flowers. You can upgrade a natural village or build one from scratch.

Upgrade an existing village

1. Load Golden Days and walk the village to spot which buildings already benefit.

2. Replace plain doors and trapdoors with restyled wood variants so every house matches.

3. Add hanging signs and regular signs at entrances and along paths for a lived-in feel.

4. Plant restyled flowers in window boxes and around wells, and let leaf blocks frame the edges.

Build a new retro village

Choose one or two wood types and commit to them so the palette stays tight. Use restyled planks for walls, doors and trapdoors for openings, and signs for shop fronts. Place bells near the center as a focal point, and use pottery sherds and armor stands as market-stall props. Keep roofs simple and let the retextured wood do the work. Because boats with chests are also restyled, you can park them at a dock as both decoration and storage.
