Link Your Custom Cape to Player UUIDs

Prepare Your Remote JSON File

Create or update a JSON file hosted on a remote server that your mod can access. This file should map player UUIDs to their assigned capes. Structure it so each UUID entry points to the correct cape cosmetic identifier and texture source.

Configure the Cape Source URL

In the mod's configuration or settings, specify the URL where your remote JSON file is located. The mod will check this file to determine which players receive which capes.

Assign Capes by UUID

Add player UUIDs to your JSON file and associate them with specific cape designs. You can organize unlocks for testers, contributors, event winners, or other groups by listing their UUIDs.

Verify Sync

Once configured, the mod will automatically fetch cape assignments from your remote file. Players with matching UUIDs will see their assigned capes load when they join. Test with a small group first to ensure the linking works correctly.
