What are the two config files used by the mod?
permanenteffects.txt assigns permanent effects to mobs, and ondamageeffects.txt defines effects mobs apply when damaging others. Both live in ./config/configurablemobpotioneffects/.
How do I apply config changes without restarting the game?
Use the /cmpe reload command. It applies your changes on the fly.
What do the config files contain when they first generate?
They auto-generate with all available entities and effects set to level 0 by default. That means no effects are active until you change the values.
