How to Open and Navigate the Catalogue Mod Menu

Opening the Menu

Catalogue replaces the vanilla Forge mod list with its own screen. Open it the same way you would normally reach the mods list: from the main menu, click Mods. If you are in-game, press Escape and look for the Mods button, or use the mod list keybind if one is set. Catalogue takes over this screen automatically once installed, so you do not need to enable anything extra.

Getting Around

Once open, you will see a list of every installed mod on the left and a detail panel on the right.

  • Scroll the list to browse mods.
  • Click a mod to select it and read its description, version, and links in the detail panel.
  • Use the search bar at the top to filter by name as you type.
  • Use the filter buttons to narrow the list to mods that have updates, mods with configs, or your favorites.
  • Right-click a mod to open a context menu showing its dependencies and other quick actions.

The layout is designed so you rarely need to leave the screen. Everything from configs to issue trackers is reachable from the selected mod's panel. If the list feels cluttered, the filters and search are the fastest way to cut it down.
