Using Boat Item View Mod Alongside Cloth Config and Mod Menu

Boat Item View Mod integrates cleanly with Cloth Config and Mod Menu on Fabric, and with Configured on Forge. Knowing how these fit together makes adjusting the mod much faster.

What Each Piece Does

Cloth Config provides the actual settings screen with sliders and toggles. Mod Menu is the mod list where you launch that screen. On Forge, Configured fills the same role as Mod Menu plus Cloth Config combined, giving you a config button in the mod list.

Accessing Settings Quickly

On Fabric, open Mod Menu, find Boat Item View, and click the config gear. On Forge, open the mods screen, select the mod, and click Configure. Both open the same underlying options: the render toggle and the item-type filter.

Keeping Things Tidy

Because the mod is client-side only, you can safely add or remove it without affecting servers or other players. If you ever lose track of your settings, the config screen is the single source of truth, so revisit it rather than editing files by hand. Pairing it with Mod Menu or Configured simply saves you from hunting through folders, and it keeps all your client-side tweaks in one familiar place.
