How to Use the Botanist Workbench and Hanging Pots for Plants

The Botanist Workbench

The Botanist Workbench is a crafting station dedicated to plant-related recipes. Place it like a normal crafting table and interact with it to open its interface. Use it whenever a recipe in your recipe viewer shows the Botanist Workbench as the station — this is how the mod gates its plant-themed crafts. Keep one near your farm or greenhouse so you do not have to run back to a crafting table.

Hanging Pots

Hanging Pots are small planters you suspend from ceilings or blocks above. Place one against the underside of a block, then add a plant to it. They are ideal for greenhouses, porches, and kitchens where floor space is tight.

Building a Plant Corner

1. Place a Botanist Workbench against a wall.

2. Hang two or three Hanging Pots from the ceiling above it.

3. Add a lamp or candelabra so the plants are lit.

4. Fill the pots with the plants you want to show off.

This combination turns a plain corner into a working garden nook. Check the workbench's interface for the exact recipes it unlocks, since those change with the mod version.
