How to Light a Build with Lamps, Candelabras, and Light Bulbs
Beautify Refabricated adds several light sources that look far better than torches in furnished interiors:
Bamboo Lamps,
Glowstone Essence Lamps,
Light Bulbs, and
Candelabras in many colors.
Choosing a Light Source
Bamboo Lamp and
Glowstone Essence Lamp: hanging or standing lamps that suit warm, cozy rooms.
Light Bulb: a small, modern fixture for clean builds.
Candelabras: colored candle holders (black, blue, brown, cyan, gray, green, light blue, light gray, lime, magenta, and more) that act as accent lighting.
Placing and Lighting
Craft the fixture you want, then place it on a floor, wall, or ceiling depending on the block. Most of these emit light, so use them instead of torches to keep interiors tidy.
Candelabras are especially good for dining tables and mantelpieces because their small footprint lets you cluster several together.
Practical Lighting Layout
1. Place one main lamp per room as the primary light.
2. Add
candelabras or bulbs near focal points — tables, frames, bookshelves.
3. Use colored candelabras to color-code rooms or match a build's palette.
4. Check at night that no dark corners remain; add a second lamp if needed.
Because these are decorative fixtures, they are best used indoors where their appearance matters most.
