Backpack Plus Addon does not require crafting—backpacks are obtained as items in-game. Once you have a backpack in your inventory, hold it in your main hand and right-click (PC) or tap the open button (mobile) to access its storage.

Can I lose items if I drop my backpack?

No, items stored inside a backpack are saved to that specific backpack item, not to your player inventory. Even if you drop the backpack, the items remain safely stored inside it.
