Combine Smoothness and Speed for Your Ideal Zoom Feel

Understand the Two Settings

ZoomX Smooth Mod provides two independent controls: Smoothness (how the camera eases into position) and Zoom Speed (how quickly it travels). These work together to create your complete zoom experience.

Find Your Balance

Press B to open settings. A smooth, slow zoom uses high smoothness and low speed—ideal for cinematic exploration. A snappy, fast zoom uses low smoothness and high speed—better for quick target acquisition. A balanced setup uses moderate values on both sliders.

Experiment Systematically

Start by setting smoothness to your preference, then adjust speed independently. Close the menu and zoom on distant mountains, structures, or mobs to feel the combined effect. Return to settings and tweak one slider at a time until the camera motion feels natural and responsive for your playstyle.

Lock in Your Settings

Once satisfied, your configuration saves automatically and applies to all future zoom actions.
