How to Make Interactions Use Your Camera View Instead of Your Player

The Interaction Mode Toggle

By default, when you break a block or hit an entity in FreeCam, the game may use your player's actual position rather than where your camera is looking. This mod lets you choose which position drives interactions. That means you can mine or attack from your floating camera viewpoint if you configure it that way.

Steps to Change Interaction Behavior

1. Open the mod's configuration screen or use its in-game command interface.

2. Look for the setting that controls whether interactions follow the FreeCam view or the player position. The exact label may be phrased as camera-based interactions or similar.

3. Switch it to use the FreeCam view if you want to break blocks and hit entities from where you are looking.

4. Test it: activate FreeCam, fly a few blocks away from your player, and try breaking a block. If the block breaks at your crosshair, the setting is working.

Cautions

Server-side anti-cheat or reach limits may still reject interactions that are too far from your player. Keep your camera reasonably close to your body when interacting, and remember that some servers treat this as an exploit.
