How to Make Bridges Spawn With Other World-Gen Mods

Compatibility Overview

YUNG's Bridges Mod is built to coexist with other world-generation mods. It's specifically noted as compatible with YUNG's Better Mineshafts, YUNG's Better Strongholds, and Terraforged. This means you can run it alongside those mods without bridges failing to generate or overwriting other structures.

Steps to Set Up a Compatible World

1. Install all the world-gen mods you want together before creating a new world. Structure mods generally can't be added cleanly to an already-generated world without chunk borders looking odd.

2. Create a new world. Let it generate normally — no special settings are required for bridges to appear.

3. Verify generation by exploring. Travel a few hundred blocks in any direction and look for bridges over rivers, ravines, or canyons.

4. If you use Terraforged or a similar terrain overhaul, bridges will adapt to the new terrain shapes. Expect them over the custom rivers and canyons those mods create.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see no bridges at all, confirm the mod is actually loaded and that you're exploring newly generated chunks, not old ones.
  • If bridges appear but clip into other structures, that's usually a rare overlap — it doesn't mean the mods are incompatible.
  • Avoid stacking multiple mods that both heavily rewrite the same structure categories; check each mod's documentation for known conflicts.

Running bridges alongside other YUNG mods is one of the most popular setups and generally works without configuration.
