Why the Loot Is Different

This mod replaces the old huts with more complex layouts, and part of that redesign is richer chest contents. Instead of the sparse vanilla loot, the new huts are built to reward a proper exploration, so you should search the whole structure rather than grabbing one chest and leaving.

Looting Checklist

• Open every chest. The multi-level design means containers can be tucked on different floors or in side rooms, not just the main platform.
• Check the brewing stands. The mod places items inside them that hint at vanilla potion recipes — these are clues, so collect them and read what they suggest rather than treating them as junk.
• Look up and down. Stilted huts have space under the floor and above the main room; do not assume the visible platform is everything.
• Bring empty inventory space. Better loot means more to carry, and running out of slots mid-loot forces you to drop things.

Practical Tips

Clear witches before looting so you are not interrupted. Bring a bed or set your spawn nearby if the swamp is far from home, since a full inventory trip back is wasteful. If you specifically want the original vanilla hut loot tables instead, the mod's config lets you re-enable vanilla witch huts — but while the new huts are active, expect the improved rewards described above.
