What a Witch Circle Is

A Witch Circle is a new structure added by this mod, separate from the huts. It is a ritual-style arrangement rather than a building, so it looks very different from the stilted huts you may already know. Treat it as its own landmark to hunt for while exploring swamps.

Finding One

• Explore swamp biomes thoroughly; the circle is a ground-level feature, so it is easy to walk past if you are only looking upward for huts.
• Keep an eye out for unusual ground patterns, scattered decoration, or a clearing that does not match normal swamp terrain.
• Because it is smaller and flatter than a hut, it can be hidden by tall grass and water. Break through foliage or travel along the shore to spot it.

Looting It

Approach carefully — witches may be present. Clear the area first, then inspect the structure for chests and any brewing-related blocks. The mod's design philosophy is that these new locations hold more interesting loot than vanilla huts, so open every container you find rather than assuming one chest is all there is. Note the layout before you leave; the circle's arrangement is distinctive and helps you recognise future ones. If you want the vanilla huts back instead of these new structures, that is handled in the mod's config, not in-game.
