Create and Configure Your First Protected Region
Setting Up a Local Region
Local Regions protect specific areas you define. Use the mod's region creation command to mark two opposite corners of your build—this establishes the boundaries of your protected zone.
Assigning Protection Flags
Once your region exists, configure which actions are allowed within it:
- Block Breaking & Placement: Prevent players from modifying terrain
- Mob Griefing: Stop creepers, endermen, and other mobs from destroying blocks
- Explosions: Block TNT and other explosive damage
- Fire Spread: Prevent fire from spreading to your builds
- Pvp: Toggle player combat on or off
Access your region's settings through the mod's configuration interface and toggle each flag to match your needs. You can enable protection for specific threats while allowing others—for example, allow block placement but prevent mob griefing.
Testing Your Setup
Have another player attempt to break a block or spawn mobs in your region to verify protection is working. Adjust flags if needed.
