Yet Another Bingo Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start a Bingo game with my friends?
Create or join a server with the mod installed, then in the lobby use /join to pick a team. Once all players are ready, press the ready button or wait for the host to start—the Bingo card will generate and the game begins.
Can vanilla players join a server running this mod?
Yes, vanilla players can join without installing the mod. They won't see the Bingo card in their inventory but can right-click the Bingo map item to view it and participate in the game.
How do I open the Bingo card during a game?
Press Y to open the Bingo card in an inventory view on the client. Vanilla players can right-click the Bingo map item instead.
What's the difference between Standard, Lockout, and other game modes?
Standard Bingo requires you to complete a full row, column, or diagonal to win. Lockout mode prevents other teams from scoring the same items you collect, making strategy more competitive. Hidden Items and Replace Goals modes add different twists to item collection and card objectives.
How do I find items I don't recognize on the Bingo card?
Right-click an item on the card to open recipe lookup through JEI, REI, or EMI—this shows you how to craft or find that item without leaving the game.
Why aren't my items being marked as collected?
Items are scored automatically when you obtain them, so check that you're holding the exact item shown on the card. Some items may require specific conditions (like being in a certain form or state) to count.
Can I customize the Bingo card difficulty or item pool?
Yes, open the mod's configuration screen (requires Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib) to adjust card difficulty, enable or disable game modes, and customize item pools without restarting the server.
How do I give all players a spawn kit at the start of the game?
Configure spawn kits in the mod settings, or use the built-in configuration screen to define what items each player or team receives when the game starts.
Can I use this mod on a dedicated server?
Yes, the mod works on both dedicated servers and single-player/LAN worlds. Vanilla players can join dedicated servers without installing the mod.
What should I do if the Bingo card seems unfair or too hard?
The host can use /bingo reroll to generate a new card, or adjust the difficulty and item pool in the configuration screen before the next game starts.
