YEssential Plugin FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get started with YEssential Plugin?
Join your server and type /moneygui to see your starting balance and explore the money system. Then use /home to set up your first house, and type /sign to claim your daily login reward.
Can I send money to a specific player or only to everyone?
Red packets send money to all players currently online at once. To give money to a specific player, an admin must use the admin money screen to manually add or remove funds from their account.
What happens if I die? Can I get back to where I died?
The plugin saves your death location automatically. Use /home or check your death waypoint to fast travel back and recover your lost items before they despawn.
How do I keep my building area safe from PVP?
Type /pvp to toggle your player-versus-player status off, which prevents other players from attacking you while you build. You can turn it back on anytime with the same command.
Does the daily reward streak reset if I miss a day?
Yes, your streak resets if you don't log in and claim your reward with /sign on consecutive days. The daily sign-in board tracks your current streak and gives better rewards for longer streaks.
Why is my server lagging and how do I fix it?
Dropped items and extra mobs can cause lag. Ask an admin to type /clean to immediately remove clutter from the ground, or enable the automatic cleanup feature in the plugin settings.
Can I set up multiple homes or just one?
You can set up multiple homes using the /home menu. Walk to each location you want to save, open /home, and click the add button to create a new home waypoint.
What's the difference between /rtp and /tpa?
/rtp sends you to a random safe location in the world to start exploring, while /tpa lets you request to teleport to a specific player (they must accept your request first).
Can admins see what I'm doing with spectator mode?
Yes, admins can use a spectator mode command to fly around invisibly and check on players without being seen. This helps them monitor the server and prevent rule-breaking.
Does the plugin block TNT explosions or just prevent placing them?
The plugin blocks specific explosive blocks like TNT and beds in the Nether from being used, protecting your server from griefing and unwanted explosions in dangerous dimensions.
