Yeetus Experimentus Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

What does the Yeetus Experimentus mod actually do?
It removes the Experimental Settings warning popup that normally appears when you create or load a world using experimental features. The features themselves still work exactly the same, you just skip the confirmation screen.
How do I turn the warning back on if I want it?
Just remove the mod from your mods folder and the vanilla warning returns. There is no in-game toggle, so the mod's presence is the on/off switch.
Does this mod change my world or add experimental features?
No, it only suppresses the popup. Your world data, datapacks, and experimental toggles are untouched, so it is purely a client-side convenience.
Do I need this on both the client and the server?
The popup is a client-side screen, so it only needs to be on the client to hide it. Installing it on a server does nothing harmful but also nothing useful.
Will this mod work with other mods that add experimental features?
Yes, it does not care which experimental features are enabled, it just hides the warning screen regardless of the source. It should not conflict with datapack or worldgen mods.
Does Yeetus Experimentus affect performance?
No, it only removes a GUI screen, so there is no measurable impact on FPS or tick rate. It is effectively weightless once loaded.
Why does the experimental warning still show up after I installed it?
The most common causes are the mod not being loaded for the correct game version or loader, or another mod re-adding the screen. Check your mod list is actually loading it before assuming it is broken.
Can I use this on a world I already created with experimental features?
Yes, that is one of the main uses. Loading an existing experimental world will skip the warning and go straight in, as long as the mod is active.
Is it safe to remove the mod later?
Yes, removing it just brings the warning back. Nothing in your world depends on the mod being present.
Does this work on servers or only singleplayer?
It works anywhere the warning screen would appear, including when connecting to servers that use experimental features. Since it is client-side, each player needs it installed individually to skip the popup.
