How do I turn all my items into bread?
The mod does this automatically when you load your world—every item in your inventory, hotbar, and the ground will appear as bread by default. If items aren't showing as bread, check that the mod is properly installed and enabled in your launcher.
Can I change what item everything looks like instead of bread?
Yes, use the command `/loafy set ` to replace the bread texture with any other item you want. For example, `/loafy set dirt` will make everything look like dirt blocks instead.
Where do I find the config file?
Open `%rundir%/config/loafy/config.toml` in a text editor to adjust display settings and customize which item replaces all others. After editing, reload your world or restart the game for changes to take effect.
Do my tools and weapons still work if they look like bread?
Yes, the mod only changes how items look—all tools, weapons, and blocks function exactly as normal. You can mine, fight, and build without any difference in behavior.
Why can't I see what items I'm actually holding?
This is intentional—the mod hides item identity by making everything look the same. Keep track of your inventory manually, use tooltips by hovering over items, or change the display item to something more distinctive using `/loafy set`.
Does this mod work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, the mod works on custom servers and affects dropped items and other players' inventories if they also have the mod installed. If only you have it, you'll see bread but other players will see normal items.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is lightweight since it only changes textures and models, not game mechanics. Performance impact should be minimal on most systems.
Can I disable the mod for specific items or slots?
The mod transforms everything globally—there's no built-in option to exclude certain items or inventory slots. Your only option is to change what item everything looks like using the config or commands.
What happens if I change the display item mid-game?
All items will immediately update to the new appearance after you use `/loafy set` or modify the config file and reload. Your actual items and their functions don't change, only what you see.
Does this mod work with other mods that add custom items?
Yes, custom items from other mods will also be transformed into bread or your chosen display item. The mod applies to all items in the game, including those added by other mods.
