Placing Your Chattels

Once you have refined and smoothed planks, you can build the mod's decorative blocks. These include the grandfather clock, the gong and large gong, Jamien's shelf, and pedestals in iron, gold, and diamond varieties. Pedestals are useful for displaying items, while the clock and gongs act as statement pieces for a room.

The mod also adds large banners and flags in many colors, including black, blue, brown, cyan, gray, green, light blue, and lime. Banners and flags share color options but differ in form, so you can choose the shape that suits a wall or an open space.

Because everything here is decorative, there is no progression to rush. Build the planks you need, craft the chattels that fit your build, and place them where they read best. The grindstone, flax, and linseed oil chain supports this same goal rather than adding combat or survival mechanics.
