Fixing Items Not Showing on Your Character (Troubleshooting Guide)

You've installed the mod, but your sword, shield, or tools still aren't visible on your character. Work through these checks in order — most display problems come down to one of a few causes.

Check the Basics First

• Press V and confirm the relevant toggle is enabled. Every slot has its own switch, and it's easy to leave one off.
• Verify the item is in the correct hotbar slot (1 through 8). Items in slots outside that range, or sitting in your main inventory, won't display.
• For shields, confirm the item is in your offhand, not just your inventory.

Keybind and Mod Conflicts

If V doesn't open the menu, another mod has likely bound that key. Rebind the Weapon Master menu in your controls settings. Similarly, mods that replace the player renderer or armor model can interfere with how items attach to your character.

Item ID Restrictions

If you've configured item IDs, an item may be excluded even though its slot toggle is on. Review your ID list and make sure the item you expect is permitted.

Still Not Working?

Test with a plain vanilla item first — if a vanilla sword shows but a modded one doesn't, the issue is item compatibility, not the mod itself. Toggle visibility off and on again to force a refresh, and rejoin the world if the model stays stale.
