Chest Boat Workflow

1. Craft or find a chest boat. These function like regular boats but with built-in storage.

2. Load supplies before departure. Pack tools, torches, food, and building blocks you might need.

3. Scout from the boat. Use the transparent floor to identify interesting locations, then decide whether to dive or continue exploring.

4. Collect surface items. If you spot useful blocks or items in shallow water, you can quickly grab them without returning to shore.

5. Store findings safely. Place collected items directly into your boat's chest to keep them organized and protected.

Advantages Over Regular Boats

You won't need to return to shore as frequently. The extra storage means longer exploration sessions. You can also use the chest boat as a mobile base camp—anchor it near a promising area and use it as a supply depot while you work on nearby projects like building an underwater structure or mining operation.
