Using the Minimap and Waypoints to Navigate in XPlus PerioTable

Reading the Minimap

XPlus PerioTable includes a minimap mod that shows terrain, entities, and your current coordinates. By default it sits in a corner of the screen. Open the minimap settings through its keybind to change its shape, size, and position. You can also toggle biome names and chunk boundaries if you want more detail while exploring.

Creating Waypoints

Waypoints are the fastest way to mark important locations. Press the waypoint keybind (usually bound to a letter near your movement keys) to open the waypoint menu, then create a new waypoint at your current position. Give it a name and a color so you can tell your base apart from a village or a stronghold. Waypoints appear on the minimap and can also show as on-screen markers with distance readouts.

Navigating to a Waypoint

Once a waypoint exists, you can set it as your active target. The minimap will draw a line or arrow pointing toward it, and the on-screen marker shows how far away it is. This pairs well with the coordinate display from the game information mod, letting you travel long distances without opening the full map. Remember to teleport-proof your waypoints by noting the Y level, since caves and cliffs can hide entrances.
