Using Waystone Markers on Xaero's Map to Plan Fast Travel Routes
Reading the Markers
Once the integration is working, every waystone you have discovered shows as a distinct icon on both the minimap and the full world map. The icon tells you a fast-travel point exists there, so you can plan a route before you ever open the Waystones travel menu.
Planning a Trip
1. Open Xaero's World Map and zoom out until you can see several waystone icons at once.
2. Identify the waystone closest to your destination — the map shows its position relative to terrain, biomes, and your base.
3. Set a waypoint on the map at or near that waystone so your minimap guides you there.
4. Travel to the waystone in the world and interact with it to open the travel selection screen.
5. Pick the destination waystone from the list; the map markers help you confirm you are choosing the right one by name and location.
Tips for Route Planning
Use the world map to compare straight-line distance between waystones versus the terrain in between. A waystone that looks close on the map may sit across a ravine or ocean, so combine map markers with your own knowledge of the landscape. Markers also help you notice waystones you passed earlier and forgot to activate.
