How to Make Waystones Appear on Xaero's Minimap and World Map

Why Waystones Might Not Show Up

Xaeros Maps x Waystones Mod is a compatibility bridge, not a standalone feature. It only draws waystone markers when both Xaero's Minimap (or World Map) and a Waystones-style mod are loaded together. If you see no markers, the bridge is usually not the problem — one of the two parent mods is missing, disabled, or the config is hiding the icons.

Steps to Get Markers Rendering

1. Confirm both Xaero's Minimap and your Waystones mod are present in the same mod loader profile and both load without errors.

2. Open Xaero's settings (default keybind opens the minimap/world map settings screen) and look for the waystone or entity/marker category.

3. Make sure waystone markers are toggled on and that the marker scale/opacity is not set to invisible.

4. Walk near a waystone you have already activated. The marker should appear once the waystone is registered in your world.

5. If you are on a server, verify the server also has the Waystones mod — client-only installs cannot see server waystones.

If Markers Still Do Not Appear

Check that you are not using a minimap "fair play" or hidden-markers mode, and that the waystone is actually activated rather than just placed. Unexplored or unactivated waystones may not be shared to your map until you interact with them.
