How to Reset Xaero's Map System Message Flags

Over time, as you toggle fair-play mode, minimap restrictions, and Nether settings, players accumulate system messages about these changes. If you've been experimenting with settings or running multiple events, you may want to clear the slate so future notifications display correctly.

Resetting the Flags

Run:

`

/function xaero:resetxaero

`

This resets all system message flags tracked by the mod. After running it, players will see notifications again the next time you apply a restriction, even if they'd already been notified about that same restriction before. It does not change which restrictions are currently active — it only clears the "already told them" state.

When to Use It

This is handy between events. For example, if you ran a tournament with fair-play enabled, then reset flags, then start a new tournament with fair-play enabled again, players will get a fresh notification instead of silence. Combine it with the silent/ prefix if you want to reset flags without any message going out. Think of it as clearing the notification history, not the rules themselves.
